Research On Postmodernity Of Don Quix·ote

Scanning the Chinese and foreign study on Don Quix ote, we find that to Don Quix ote, more researches are on characterization , human nature philosophic theory and its contribution to the development of modern novel, not on the height of modern novel that Don Quix ote has already reached, and especially not paid enough concern on its postmodernity. This thesis mainly plans to research on the postmodernity that Don Quix ote especially displays, in order to remedy this blank.Based on the detailed reading of Don Quix ote, the author studies the behavior of its postmodernity from two visual angles closely and carefully. From reading angle, the author find Don Quix ote has the three-dimensional element "read-write-comment" contained and discussed in the text, and has the postmodernity three "originating" (of narration, reading, and criticizing), especially the signified's uncertainty of postmodernity was reflected in it; From the writing of the text, its character of being reconstructed after being deconstructed appeared brightly, even as the author frankly speaks he is wholly imitating knight novel, he adopt tactics on "parody" actually.In Chapter one, the key figure Don Quix ote and the works Don Quix ote were two aspects of studies' context, home and abroad, being tidied up, with briefly comment. And thus the breach of this thesis was pulled out of it.In Chapter two, the author discusses the uncertainty and the inherence of the postmodernity in Don Quix ote from the reader's view. Firstly, Don Quix ote can be viewed as a modern novel; Then its postmodernity is discussed and elaborated from two layer: its deterministic foundation is its "writing" in "originating", which has caused the uncertainty of the signified.In Chapter three, the character of being reconstructed after being deconstructed is discussed in terms of writing style. At first, this character is analyzed attached to Dionysian element by way of "parody". Then the author continues to explore the lots of aspects of this way.The conclusion is summarized: Don Quix ote is a modern novel with postmodernity which being distinctly appeared as the Uncertainty, Being reconstructed after being deconstructed.
