Playing the violin is a complicated and abstruse art. To a learner, the technique problem of performing pose and motion is vital to improving performing level. Upon previous theories and researching results of relevant disciplines, the article, for the first time, has presented the structural theory of five-district movement. The five districts include left hand district, clavicle district, right hand district, lower district, and bowstring district The thesis holds that all of the movements and postures of the body form an interactively integrated entirety. The good performance of playing the violin must depend on an integrated system; therefore, the adjustment and control of the 5-district movement, which is closely related to violin playing and the violinist's body, will result in more efficient harmony between the violinist and the instrument, thus enhancing the artistic performance. The article consists of three parts. The first part (including exordium and chapter one) introduces the development of the theory of modern violin technique and sets forth the approach of "structural theory of five-district movement for violin playing". The second part (including chapter two through chapter six) explains the structure and function of five districts for the violin playing, and, with the theories of relevant disciplines as references, structurally and deeply analyses the technique...
