French Enlighten Thoughts Marxism And The Change Of Chen-Duxiu's Early Thoughts

Chen-Du xiu's thoughts had changed sharply from 1914 to 1920 .He became firstly a democrat asking for democracy from a liberalist claiming for human rights and then a Marxist as one of the founder of the CCP .The previous students always have simply described Chen's, early thoughts as the change from democratic to Marxist, while ignoring his identity as a liberalist .So the difference ?between human rights and democracy haven't been found out.We believe that the human rights and democracy are two different concept in Chen Du-xiu's thoughts, The turning of the two means a great change of Chen's thoughts. And this is the base for him to accept Marxism .We have found that the two slogans had background of French thoughts.Now what we want to know is how these French thoughts had been absorbed, and then pushed Chen accept Marxism.
