Hometown contains two implications in Chinese-Indonesian literary works since 1965, including actual home and spiritual home. Chinese-Indonesian authors have been free themselves from the overseas Chinese infatuation for country that is China, and pay more attention to actual life.The change of concept makes a notable impact on the contents of the Chinese-Indonesian literary works. So, The actual home in the literature points to Indonesia. At the same time, hometown has the second meaning that is the cultural home. The authors express their hope that they can retain the cultural features.While, Indonesian government policies of suppression make it difficult that Chinese-Indonesian merge into Indonesian society, so there is a revelation of lonely feeling in the literary works. Their anxiety on identity are engendered by the suppression, make them wish for the equal and peaceful home.The authors express their hope from literature, and make the implications of hometown present Utopian color. They ease the suffering on identity, and express the thinks. The speech can be accepted by Indonesian government through Utopian writing, and satisfy the authors impulsion of finding home, too.
