College English Reading Teaching

The thesis tries to elaborate on the important role schemata plays in college English reading teaching in China. It starts with an analysis of the problems existed in college English reading teaching, then explores the nature of reading process and the important role schemata plays during reading comprehension, and finally combines the schema theory with teaching practice, aiming at enhancing college English readers' reading ability.
