Study Of Educational Revolution In Fujian During The Great Culture Revolution

Education in "the Cultural Revolution" is a special and sensitive field, and full of contradictions and struggling. No matter the course its launched and the final result its caused, Educational revolution is one of the most noticeable themes in "the Culture Revolution". Taking the educational revolution of Fujian in "the Cultural Revolution" as an example, In the guide of historical materialism, combining the macroscopic and microcosmic methods together, this article analyses systematically the whole course that the educational revolution of Fujian launched, developed and declined. The article expound especially the main contents about " resuming revolution in classes "and the new system of "opening-door schooling".Through analyzing, we draw the following conclusions: Both the two facts will bring to catastrophe for education undertaking. One is mistakenly taking "education served for politics" as "education served for class struggle" ,The other is Vulgarly understanding Marx's viewpoint about the "education" combined with productive labor as "work education". The fact that intellectuals being persecuted in educational revolution which leads to the seriously dropping of the quality of education comments that we must respect knowledge and talents in developing education.
