Language education, the base of human education, plays a special role in fostering new 21st century generations and in promoting human basic qualities. PUTONGHUA is the common language of the Chinese, an important task that every language professor faces is how to improve the quality of teaching PUTONGHUA. For a long time, the professors of Chinese have spent a lot of time and energy in PUTONGHUA education by taking the role of the Chinese phonetic alphabet as their canes, but the achievements they have made are not so optimistic. The urgent task is to explore the characteristics of Chinese and the principles of human language acquisition, and based on this establish a reasonable PUTONGHUA education system.This thesis proposes the topic of enforcing implicit education in PUTONGHUA by drawing the experience of the results of implicit education research in modern pedagogics, linguistics and psychology as well as combining with the author's years' of experience in teaching PUTONGHUA. Based on this, the thesis expects to establish a completely new PUTONGHUA education concept and promote the efficient teaching. This thesis consists on introduction, body and conclusion. The body includes four parts:The first part proposes that by taking into consideration the current situation of "high cost, low efficiency" in teaching PUTONGHUA, based on the "explicit-implicit education complementary" theory and by taking the "feelings of language-centered" theory as its reference, this thesis will enforcing implicit education in method of teaching PUTONGHUA.The second part provides theoretical motivation for enforcing implicit education in teaching PUTONGHUA from a psychological andlinguistic perspective.The third part expounds the roles of implicit education in training the students' feelings of language, in promoting their internal motivations, and in developing their potentialities in PUTONGHUA study. On this basis we will illustrate the necessity of implementing implicit education in teaching PUTONGHUA.The fourth part, the most important part of this thesis, expounds the enforcement of implicit education in teaching PUTONGHUA. To implement implicit education in PUTONGHUA teaching, we should first begin with the students' feelings of language training as our starting point, implicit education as our basic method, situational utterances as the primary contents, and environmental optimization as our key guarantee.
