To change the traditional teaching style, fully develop the educational function in psychology and accelerate the improvement of the English teaching effect and the comprehensive quality of the students, ultimately leading to students learning how to learn and obtaining sustainable development, and laying a solid foundation of all-around development and lifelong education of the students, the author makes the experiment study on the Integrated Model of Psychological Health Education and English Class Teaching in Middle Schools in two classes of Senior 3, Fuzhou Overseas Middle School, applying English Course Standard (experiment draft) and Successful Intelligence Theory. The major content of the experiment is that: defining teaching content, planning and fixing teaching goals, organizing teaching activities and developing teaching evaluation; the teaching procedure of the experimentstudy is that: preparing the experiment-designing activities-carryingout procedures-using portfolios-learning how to reflect. It is dividedinto two phases, of which the first (from December, 2002 to March, 2003) is the one of exploration and the second (from April, 2003 to May, 2003) is the one of consolidation. The results of this experiment are as follows: 1. Implementing the integrated model takes advantage to cultivate positive emotion and attitude of the students, changing the bad behavior of the students in class. 2. Implementing the integrated model helpfully enhances the self-consciousness of the students, changing the unitary, passive learning style of the students. 3. Executing the integrated model is helpful to develop analysis ability, practice ability and creativity of the students. 4. Fulfilling the integrated model helps to impel the students to form effective learning strategy, thus leading to the improvement of the automatic learning ability. 5. Exercising the integrated model takes advantage to improve the English scores of the students. 6. Carrying out the integrated model contributes to changing the traditional teaching style, giving a new idea for the reform of English class teaching.
