In the article, the period of the Great Revolution means the history between the end of WWI and the beginning of Nanjing Government. Sometimes, 1920s.In the period, Sino-France relations started under the international setup of Versailles-Washington, which was formed after dickering between the big powers based on the new position of strength after WWI. Such setup resumed the equilibrium of forces broken during WWI.In China, there existed two opposite government in the south and north in 1920s. As far as Sino-France relations was concerned, the prominent feather in polities is that France recognize Peking Government while France had government-like communication with the South Government.Sino-France relations were different before and after May30 Movement. Before the movement, France was in a dominant position and plundered some new profits. Afterwards Peking Government was in a more dominant position although with limited achievements.During the period of Grant Revolution, the trade between China and France developed greatly, but more favorable to France. However, French profits in China couldn't be compared with Britain and Japan.As for the culture relations, religious culture in France was less developed while the secular culture supported by the government made much progress, which was displayed by education.In a word, In 1920s France didn't have consistent policy and its effect on China tended to shrink.
