A Research For Bronze Form In Pre-qin Dynasty

Bronzes were firstly found in the Neolithic site of YangShao Culture,developing greatly during the Three Dynasty in Pre-Qin Dynasty and blooming in Shang and Zhou dynasty. The technic skills and art level developed into a untouched height. The bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty are known in the world for its gorgeous decoration graphics, elegant sculpt and lofty technic skills. Bronzes were replaced by ironwares step by step during the Spring & Autumn and Battle Age. At the same time, however, bronzes achieved new development. The art style tent to be magnificent and temporal, different from the style in Shang Zhou dynasty when the art style is dignified and religionary, which indicated the variance in politics and culture. Bronzes declined since Qin-Han Dynasty for the ironwares were used widely. Bronzes in three dynasty ,which represent the top of Slavery Civilization are the symbol of Bronzes Civilization of China. Viewpoints and arguments in this thesis are based on that time.The species of bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty is numerous and each of them has special function. Most of the Chinese bronzes are Amenity Implements,which is an important character of Chinese bronzes. The Amenity Implements were originally banausic and turned to be psychic implements later. They were used to fete,feast and register, obviously serving for the gerentocratic. As for a slavery country, Amenity Implements were not pute but mystic.institutional and powerful and we should not look them on a single sight. In fact, the decoration graphics and sculp of bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty have special symbol meaning.Just based on the cases mentioned above. This thesis take the form of bronzes as the entry and my study will emphasis on the two aspects of the decoration graphics and sculpt of bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty.The thesis is composed in three parts. The first part is from chapter one to chapter two,this part mainly accounts for the research on bronzes nowadays, my viewpoints of thesis and intent of bronzes study. In another hand it introduces the history development, and art style of bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty.The second part is from chapter three to chapter four, which is the core part of the thesis, expounding the decoration graphics and sculpt of bronzes in Pre-Qin Dynasty in detail. Emphasis on the culture context, form elements and art skills and creative rules.The third part is last chapter of the thesis. In this part, I put forward a series problems, such as how to inherit the bronzes art, how to apply bronzes art in the practical design, and my opinions as well.
