A Study On Cui Shi-Guang Works For The Piano

This dissertation presents a general review of Mr. cui shiguang's exploration in Chinese Piano Music beginning from 1960's. The creation of Mr.cui shiguang applies with not only technique of traditional music and modern music, but also virtue of Chinese music and western music ?The author tries to explore Mr.cui shiguang's works by analyzing creation background, music structure, music expression etc. Besides, the article shows the author's opinion on how to perform some Mr. cui shiguang works, for example, On Songhua River,Spring,Folk Songs of Sandong, which are Mr. cui shiguang's three famour works.Finally, basing on facts, the author generalizes Mr. Cui shiguang's main characters in the creations of Piano Music and his contribution and position in the development of Chinese Piano Music. At the end, the author gives some consideration on the sinicization of the Piano.
