Gao Gong reassumed office, reversed all the policies of Xu lie, made great effort to keep a good filiations between Jiajing and Longqing and prevented the common practice of reversing the verdict, ceased doing favor to the ministers who were once put in jail due to Dali or suggestions, reconsidered the sentences to Wang Jin and others, rebuilt the authority of the emperor consolidated the family of emperor Xian, All these measures ensured the stability of the ruling of emperor Muzong, even of the Ming Dynasty.Gao Gong generously took the development of the Country as his own responsibility, altered official system, rectified channels for criticism and suggestions, promoted the academy administrations, tried to remove the decadent customs, which greatly improved the working efficiency, activated the administration mechanism. He restructured the armament, achieved the famous event of "An Da Feng Gong" and suppressed the local rebellion; as a result, the society came to be stabilized. In addition, Gao Gong paid special attention to the commercial development and tried to benefit the merchants, thereby, the economy gradually recovered. What he had done touched every aspect of the reformation.Gao Gong was keen on his job. Taking as administrative program removing the decadent customs and taking practical policies, He didn't conform to the customary, discarded evil's effects to support the positive. All these doings contributed a lot to the armament restructuring, the border consolidating, official system rectification as well as social stabilizing; at the same time opened a grand blueprint for Zhang Juzheng's ten-year-long reformation.
