Extact As defined, men are remarkable and noticeable figures with handiness, sturdiness and manliness, to whom women are submitted and belong, and by whom shielded. In the course of the culture of the male dominance, the role acted by women has submerged women themselves, as the opposite sex to male , in the historic stream, which developed the collective non-consciousness and turned out to be subconscious motives for behavior-selection. Because of no independence, women movement for liberty, that is, all the movements are touched to great social and cultural revolutionaries, and the equality with men depicted in law, economy and politics, merely has stayed in words and actually been far to be yet realized ideologically. With the influence of western feminist campaign, the theme of feminism was revived with great zeal. And the theme out-strode the politic and economic domain into the world of spirit and culture, thus being considered in ultimate depth. Based on the novels by Wang Anyi and facilitated by the theory of the feminism criticism and psych-analysis, the feminist revolutionary course has been graphed in the article. The recognizing of feminism in her works developed with a pattern: from being subconscious to being concious, then to being lost. The exploration on the status of women, their destiny, and the future relationship between sexes, witnessed Wang Anyi's production of two decades. At the beginning of the article goes the evolution in Wang Anyi's works, then analyses on the evolution succeeding, and at the end of the article are thecomprehensive commentary on the evolution and the production of all her contemporaries. In the development of the study present herein three parts: The Women's Breakthrough, the first part, outlined is not only the world of women in her novels but, on the feminism, the world of men as well. In accordance to the proceeding of women's self-recognizing, the productions on feminism have gone three phases: the first, "The Myth of Male Dominance", which prevailed from 1976 to 1984; the second, "Breaking Through the Male Dominance", which went through the period of 1984 to 1993; the last phase, "The Lost Women" ,which lasts from 1993 to 2003. The Failure of the Feminist Movement, the second part, analyses the causes of the evolution in Wang Anyi's works. The third part ,The Women's Self-recognizing at Loss, is engaged with comparison of Wang Anyi's novels and those of her contemporaries to locate the feminist evolutionary interaction knots between them. With the analyses above, it can be drawn that the women's liberty has a long zigzag way to go. Under the man's dominance of thousands of years, it needs more than women's effort but common effort of both sexes and agreeable economic and politic condition of whole society to get rid of man's predominance and obtain women's emancipation. Women's overthrowing men would make the sexes in hostility to the other side, while women's dependence on men would makes them subjected to the latter, and ignorance to the sex difference only let to Utopians, which are doomed to failure.
