Tracing Artistic Schools Of The Piano Expanding Thinking Space For The Piano Learning

The paper elaborates several major western piano schools such as Germen -Austrian school ,Russian school,French school ,Italian school and Polish school .which evolved over more than 300years .The paper describes their respective features in aspects of the piano playing ,the piano teaching and the creation of the piano works and concludes that they all can serve as key models for the development of Chinese piano specialization ,so it is of great importance for the Chinese piano majors to learn and make a study of these schools .In the end ,the paper suggests that a Chinese piano school of national characteristics should be set up .
