This thesis mainly made an exploration from three aspects, namely the origin of Sun Yixian's revolutionary educational thought, the analysis of his revolutionary educational thought and the historical evaluation of his revolutionary educational thought.Firstly, the origin of Doctor Sun Yixian's educational thought. Since modern times, the elimination of imperial examination institution, the opening of new kinds of schools and the advancement of new educational thought offered necessary external surrounding for the origin of Doctor Yixian's revolutionary educational thought. The career of pursuing his studies that he received Chinese and foreign education from childhood and his struggle for the transformation of his homeland and the revival of the national directly promoted the origin of Doctor Sun Yixian's revolutionary educational thought. The development of Sun's revolutionary thought went through a course from its preliminary establishment to continuous development and to its maturity.Secondly, the analysis of Doctor Sun Yixian's revolutionary educational thought. The contents of Sun'srevolutionary educational thought are rich, which include the elucidation of theory, the creativity of institution, the construction of whole educational system and assumption of one certain concrete educational problem. From the thought originated revolutionary education concept, military education concept, common education concept and popular education concept with their own characteristics. In the aspect of revolutionary education thought, he put forward the view that: Education is avocation and There is no construction without knowledge; in the military education concept he set forth the thought that education served the revolutionary armed struggle from the aspects such as referring to foreign military educational experience, the building of political educational institution in the army and cultivating talented persons through practicing arms. In the aspect of common education concept, Doctor Sun Yinxian made many beneficial explorations into many problems, put forward many profound thoughts and he thought that education should serve the republic, and students should serve their country and the society with their knowledge, and teachers should take up the responsibility to direct the crowd, the society and direct the people to discuss politics, carry out the education of democratic revolution principles and political theories to the students and make them become political educations. In the aspect of popular education, Doctor Sun made wide explorations into such problems as normal education, woman education, children education, social education and national education etc, and the purpose and role of the explorations were to serve the ideal of the Three People's Principles on the basis of the critics of the limitations of feudal education.Thirdly, the historical status of Doctor Sun Yixain's revolutionary educational thought.
