Wang yunsheng carried a wide research on Japanese history and present condition .He believed that the whole country of Japan had been on the way to militarization. Armyman's fascist autocracy had been established in the political field; "Agriculture panic statement" and "economic nationalism" were in vogue, by this mean ,the person in power of Japan ,in order to make public opinion for extended aggression ,drove the poor peasants into the battlefields of the extended aggression. "Warlords' cooperation with plutocracy" was the outstanding expression of the economies' militarization ;In the foreign affairs field, Japan pursued a policy of befriend distant states while attacking those nearby, and then proceed to challenge the international orders. All of these became a huge misery to China. Wang yunsheng maintained that it should be worldwide to study the Sino-Japan relationship. Relations between Japan and big powers were strained more and more, which contributed to the defeat of the Japanese aggressors. He advocated that we should take a calm and realistic foreign tactics, and make full use of the beneficial international situation to promote Chinese modernization and stand up to Japan's aggression.Wang's modernization thoughts was the rational develop of his viewpoints on Japan .He thought that Chinese modernization was the ultimate way to solve the problem between China and Japan. He maintained that modernization should be an all-round one. Moreover, he emphatically proposed the theory of state centralism. Objectively, it makes clear that a powerful and unitary central state was the inherent need of Chinese modernization. Chinese populace expressed a worried attitude towards to arouse "national and state consciousness". Nationalism was not only the need of Anti-Japanese War, but also the premise of modernization of China. Furthermore, Wang also proposed the advice to introduce the foreign capital into China. It is worthy to pay attention to his viewpoints on Japan and modernization thoughts, which has some representative.
