Through the detailed analyses of Zhaoyi province, the author discusses Zhaoyi province's establishment and geographical environment, the subtle status of Zhaoyi province between central regime of Tang Dynasty and regional province, Zhaoyi province's connection with regime vicissitudes during the last stage of Tang Dynasty and early stage of Five Dynasties, analyzes the causes of Zhaoyi province's importance. Zhaoyi province is located at the south part of Taihang Mountain. It is between the Hesuo and Tang Dynasty central regime at the late stage of Tang Dynasty, the forces of Bian and Jin at the early stage of Five Dynasties.
