The article aims at searching into the author's idiosyncrasy of personality' and creative thoughts with regard to the complicated social environment, the cultural psychology of the nation, the trend of western philosophy, and the abundant personal experience of the author at that time, etc., accurately analyzing the subjective and objective causes for the formation of his idiosyncrasy of personality. Hemingway was a person of very intricate ideas, whose personal temperament was made up of many contradictory elements, and lots of completely conflicting psychological characteristics coexisted on him. His disposition was full of sensitivity and impulse of choleric temperament, spiritual experience of melancholic temperament, and liveliness and vivacity of sanguine temperament.
