As a cultural pattern, religion is very sophisticated and has roots in the anxious consciousness of human being. Religious culture contains wide meanings of life and society. It has powerful strength: it can penetrate every links of human development and relate every fields of social life. Religious culture has evident influence on Chinese literature, especially on Chinese modern literature. The essay analysis the representative poets of modern China and works and focuses on the religious ideas of them. The aim of the essay will really understand Chinses modern poets and their works.This essay has eight parts: Introduction, Chapter one (Bingxin: religious philosophy about love), Chapter two (Feimign: study and understand Buddhism),Chapter three (Dai Wangshu: religious and philosophical analysis), Chapter four (Mu Dan: "God" in his poem), Chapter five (Guo Mouruo: religious diversify in his poem), Chapter six (Ai Qing: the son of human, the religious feelings in his poem), and Chapter seven (Xu Dishan: a mytical writer).
