Guangdong literature (G.L), whose regional characteristic (R.C) was not distinctive once, gained a good chance to come to the stage of literature with a large scale and outstanding results, which resulted in its central position from the edge in the modern times. Thus , its R.C was made to know widely. Then the pluralistic G.L laid its T.C aside with the new establishment of literature center after liberation, which could be thought as its seceding in Chinese literature history. The emerging and the seceding of G.L were accompanied with its modernist features' appearing or disappearing. The process was looked on as a special text from the point of regional civilization's influence to literature in order to catch the modernist form of expression (M.F.E) of G.L. The paper thought G.L in the modern times had the following features: the old embodying the new, deep melancholy and psychological naturalism.
