The Analyses Of The Different Essence Of The Personality About Only-Child

By applying CattelPs statistical tables of 16-type personality factors and the statistical tables of parents' breeding ways, and by self compiling questionnaires which made tests and surveys to the Nanchang middle school students in their early youth, first, only children, as a group with the same qualities, were comparatively studied with non-only children. Then, from different angles and by various standards, only children were distinguished, and the analyses or studies about different qualities were conducted. It indicted the following: 1.Compared the non-only children, the only children have remarkable differences in the stability, the excitement, the fantasy, the experimentation, and the independency. 2.There are also notable differences in the breeding factors about the intelligence, the stability, the strength, the perseverance, the suspicion, the fantasy, the anxiety, the self-discipline, the tension between them.3.Compared those of only daughters, in the early youth, the perseverance, the courage, the independency of only sons is higher, whereas the socialization, the excitement, the sensitivity, the fantasy of them is lower. 4.compared the only children from higher family stratum show higher intelligence, higher fantasy, higher experimentation, but lower anxiety and tension. Compared the only children whose families are ordinary and poor, they show higher stability, higher excitement. However, compared the only children whose families have economic advantages, they show higher independency.5.Compared the only children whose health is often poor, the only children who are always healthy have higher stability, higher perseverance, higher independency, higher self-discipline, but lower suspicion and tension.6.Compared those of the only children from V-type or Vl-type families, the stability, the socialization, the courage, the independency, the self-discipline of the only children from core families is higher ,while compared those of the only children from mainstay families, they show higher strength, higher experimentation, higher independency, higher courage, higher self-discipline.In order to further explore the causes for the different qualities of personalities in the only children group, the writer made a thorough analysis in the pattern of detailed analysis .The results indicated that: the reason why the only children and the non-only children with different sex, different family levels, different healthy status, and different family frames show the differences of personality traits is that they are obviously affected by the breeding ways of different families. According to the study results, the writer tries presenting the relevant ideas about the personality moulding of the only children.
