The thesis take advantage of the studies in Classic Chinese and Modern Chinese to analyse and investigate the double-object structure of Modern Chinese which is one of the important sentence structures in Chinese language, and that will reveal the feature in that stage.Based on one set of book ( Jindaihanyu yufaziliao huibian) that edited by Liujian and Jiangshaoyu ,we investigate all three books of Tang dynasty, Song dynasty ,Yuan and Ming dynasty and get the statistical results. Thereby conclusions are made as follow: first, during the period of Modern Chinese, types of verbs nearly have no change . Second, the ingredients of direct object and indirect object changed obviously. Third, V+Oi+O2 has been the most stable form of double-object structure until today.The thesis is made up of five parts:-The preface.-The type of the verbs in Modern Chinese and statistics .-The ingrediens of the objects and statistics.-Discussion of correlative problems.-Conclusion.
