Research On The Pilological Theory Of Wenyuan

Wen Yuan ,which includes Lu Shu Tong Yi and Gu Yin Shuo Lue waswritten in 1920. It's a character book ,which studied the original form and meaning of the writing character according to the material of Jin Wen. The writer,LinYinguang came from Minhou Fujian. He died in 1932. People hadn't attached importance to Wen Yuan until recent decades. Nowadays, more and more articles quote Wen Yuan. However, there are still a few people studying it. For these reasons, I wish I can find the scholastic value of Wen Yuan and give some appraisement to LinYiuang through my study. I pay much attention to know that LinYiguang how to inherit and develop the theory of paleography. My study indicates that LinYiguang had been succeeded in several fields. He had broken through the traditional theory of Liu Shu. He was the first one who put forward Er Chong Xing Sheng and Xing Bian Zhi Shi. He made success in the study of the source of Xing Sheng Zi and the purpose of Zhuan Zhu and Jia Jie as a mean of creating characters. He used speech sounds as a key to study ancient writing and made large success. He also found some regulars such as Gu Jin Zi,Tong Zi Fen Hua, E Bian and so on.
