This present thesis is the first complete and systematic special study on piano research in our country, focusing on all the well-known works of Professor Jiang Wenye, a famous musician in our country. Due to the special historical backgrounds, till now, lots of Professor Jiang's excellent piano works have not been known and recognized by the vast majority, not to mention to be put on show and published. As a postgraduate majoring in piano, the author, starting off from the performances and the teaching practices of piano, help the performers and the piano teachers better know Jiang Wenye, and more precisely understand and grasp his piano works. Therefore, through the interviews with Lady Wu Yunzhen, wife of Professor Jiang Wenye and the analyses and researches of the musical materials, written sources and the audio visual materials provided by Teacher Wu Xiaoyun, daughter of Professor Jiang, the thesis completely and systematically discusses about the style and artistic features of Professor Wenye's piano works and about how to grasp the style and handle the artistic features, etc, in the actualperformances.The thesis contains four parts. The first part "Jiang's life and his musical creation", reflected Professor Jiang's life, briefly interpreted his style and musical creation and his position in modern musical history of China. The second part "Jiang's piano works and the transfer of his creation style", generally and systematically discussed Jiang's piano works, including the style of his piano works, artistic features and the artistic processing in practice, and in the appendix are the list and the concert programs. Through the analysis of his piano works, in this part, one can see clearly the style transfer of his piano musical creation from the Japanese style to the Chinese national musical style. The third part "reflection of the value of the musical aesthetics in Jiang's works", briefly interpreted the style of his piano works. The fourth part "Historical Contribution and significance of Jiang's piano works", briefly discussed the historical and realistic values of piano musical creation of Professor Jiang and his position in the piano musical history of China. |
