In Ming Dynasty,especially the last period of it ,a class of rich industrialist merchants appears, with the developing of social labour-division, the increasing of the population of industry and commerce, the prosperity of the city, partly commercializing of the agriculture products , the developing of commerce..people's ideas is changing and the merchant's status is arising. The class not possesses lots of money and affects almost every facet of the society at the same time.The who article is divided into four partsPart one is the general introduction of the rich. Including their original ,scale,the industy they pursue in and so on.Part two is the main body of the thesis,in detail, this part introduce how they get money.The class does not accumulate its wealth through equal competition, but through overt and covert practices of exploitation, such as expioiting peasants handcrafts> employees and servants directly and indirectly , practicing usury x frauduleting^ buying and selling the governmental currency cheating in business.Part three introduces the reason and the ways of their bureaucrizing .Although the class has lots of money, it has no importance in politics and the government keeps watch on the movements of the class all the time..In order to protect its wealth,escape the taxes and certain laws ,the class has to get the official position in the government.Generally speaking, the class gets the official position through two ways '.buying and imperial examination.Part four introduces how the movements of the class have progressively influenced on the society. It promotes the development of the economy, raising the social position of the class and it also change the economical structure of the feudal society and further shakes the sovereignty of the government in Ming Dynasty...
