The Influence Of Informal Institution Upon The Methods Of Tibetan Economic Institutional Changes

After being a member of China in Yuan dynasty,Tibet has experienced two important economic institutional changes:one is striding forward into socialism system from feudal serfdom,the other is from socialism planned economic system to socialism market economic system. Both of them belong to the institutional changes mainly supplied by the government. The former is the radical change of institutional circumstances,and the latter is the mixture of forced and induced institutional changes. The former,however,is very effective;socialism system has been established in Tibet. The result of the latter is unsatisfied,and the degree of Tibetan market economic growth is far behind the average level of the country. Of course,there are so many reasons explaining the phenomenon,among which informal institutions,such as traditional customs and habits,ethics and ideology,etc. play a very important role in Tibet. According to the theory of western institutional school,the article will inquire into the influence of informal institution on the methods of economic institutional changes in the unique cultural environment of Tibet.The influence of informal institution upon the method of forced institutional change in Tibet is displayed on the establishment of socialism system. Owing to the eastward direction of Tibetan culture,the economic institution transplanted to Tibet from inland has certain foundation. And the patriotism and the mass spirit of Tibetan have great effect on the solidificationof socialism system. The influence of informal institution on the method of induced institutional change in Tibet is shown on the slow establishment of socialism market economic system. Because of the impact of Tibetan Buddhism,the subjects of primary action of induced change can't be formed. Simultaneously,the deviation of the tropism of value of Tibetan has caused the alienation of wealth accumulation,thus the extended reproduction can't be furnished enough funds,and the industry has no progress. The economy of Tibet still appears atypical dualistic structure.In view of the great effect of informal institution in Tibet,it is very necessary to strengthen the exploitation of human resources of Tibet,and promote the change of informal institution of Tibet.
