A Study Of The Semantic Structure Ambiguity In Chinese

There is a certain kind of language segment, which has the same feature in the surface structure, while differentiates in the deep structure. That is to say , it involve different semantic structure relationships, although it can not be split differently in the hierarchical structure and has the same syntax structure relationship. Usually we call this kind of ambiguous semantic structure ambiguity. It is one of the furthest points to seek the complex corresponding relationship between grammatical forms and grammatical meanings.This thesis tries to point out clearly the features of semantic structure ambiguity, and investigate systematically its status quo of researches. What's more, the paper should outline 20 types of the ambiguous forms, and make an elementary approach to some representative ambiguous forms in order to find special limited terms in which these ambiguous forms could give birth to ambiguous sentences, and to look for the methods of splitting them. Finally, I will ponder deeply over the problems existing in the ambiguity researches and put forward my own view and insight on the basis of the deep thought.
