| In order to research the novels of Zhangxin, the author, in this thesis, clarified her views based on the history of Romance. In Zhangxin抯 novels, the main content is about city women抯 love story, the writing purpose is to meet the city readers emotion demands, which shows that her novels are popular Romance. Zhangxin especially connected love story with the changing city. With the development of the story, she revealed the deep changes of the times as well as portraying the city抯 appearance. So to be excite, Zhangxin抯 novels are Urban Romance. The whole thesis has three parts. Part one focus on the history of Chinese Romance and it抯 contemporary development. There were three climax in Chinese Romance history.The reason why they were on fashion is that the real life was so hash ,the people was forced to look for mental consolation in Romance.But when the tension was relax , readers would like to know more things besides love.So after the climax of Romance, some V%TiterS began to search for the unite between Romance and Society. In contemporary . the beginning of Romance is Qiongyao抯 love story , on which Zhangxin developed her Urban Romance. Part two depicted how Zhangxin draw lessons from traditional means of artistic expressions of Romance and made good use of them.The characters were pretty and smart , the atmosphere was romantic ,which were typical traditional means of expressions.Besides that Zhangxin add some Legends to make the story more interesting. Part three focus on her creation on Romance artistic techniques.Zhangxin broke the confine pattern of the traditional expression and let the whole story exposed to the society. Zhangxin applied traditional means of artistic expression of Romance adeptly to display the city抯 colorful appearance. At the same time she utilized her own artistic technique to reveal the deep changes of the times. So Zhangxin is fully deserved the title that she is the most typical Chinese mainland writer of Urban Romance. |
