Accordingly there are two aspect marks in the view of æ—erb state?and æ’entence state?respectively. These two kinds of marks overlap sometim~tho ugh they belong to different grammatical stratums. The mark æhe? express presupposition and supposition in view of æ’entence state?as well as the grammatical meaning of æ¹urative?in view of æ—erb state? The mark æ‡iao?express the grammatical meaning of æ»ulfilled? æ¾an?is an aspect mood word, which expresses the grammatical meaning of æ»inished? The mark æ‡iao?and æ¾an?in Zibo dialect approximately have the same function as æ‡e1æ”nd æ‡e2?in Putonghua. The empty word æ‡ai?is a mark of æºxperience?and it can express certain mood as well, which refer to the grammatical meaning of æ–nfinished? æ–nchanged?and æ·ertain? This paper described the grammatical meanings, distributional characteristics and pragmatic functions of the aspect marks in details. On the basis of a synchronic and diachronic comparison and analysis with the marks in Putonghua, this paper even put forward an elementarily discussion on the origin and evolution process of the aspect marks in Zibo dialect.
