Iser from microcosmic act of reading, based on the personal act of reading as the research object, thinks that act of reading is between readers and this dynamic interaction process. On this basis he put forward "blank" and "meaning not qualitative" theory that readers in the reading process in the Chinese language will produce many of the "blank", namely "dot", readers uncertain only by continuously fill "blank", can complete the whole process of reading "experience", and he thinks that every reader of the same text "experience" is different, even the same readers in different time reading the same text "experience" is also different, from this perspective, the Iser proposed "means" is " indeterminacy ". However, this paper argues that the individual readers must be in a certain historical and social relations, and he had the readers by the whole history and social influences. And the "meaning" works by a reader is not determined by the "experience", the readers' "experience" can only be considered as "means" and "means" is its social readers in accept produces in the process. This paper is to the individual reader in the entire macroscopic social background, in the synchronic and diachronic dimension to the discussion of whether the "meaning" has indeterminacy. From diachronic perspective, "meaning" is " indeterminacy ", but we can't stand in the past, only to evaluate from a "works cross-sectional" synchronic to evaluation works. In this synchronic cross-sectional and the whole society's "cultural psychological structure" is similar, but also as a text and between the readers tool of communication—"language symbols is the synchronic cross-sectional society", so the conventional "in" meaning "with the cross section does not have" indeterminacy ".
