On The Ethical Ideology Of Li Gou

As the early North Song Dynasty philosopher and progressive tendencies of the famous thinker, Naive materialism, Li Gou faithfully practised the repairing of XiuQi Zhiping Confucian thought. However, due to various reasons, he cut down; With his rarely doing in politics ,as a result he was silent in the minds of modern people for nearly 900 years until 1922, Mr. Hu Shi found and commended the excellent ideas of Li Gou. Only in the relatively isolated, but very knowledgeable, concern for the fate of thinkers began to be studied by people.In fact, Li Gou's thoughts was unique and profound. His ideas was related to philosophical, political, economic, military, religious and other aspects.His thoughts was self-contained and inherently systemic. His thoughts also had a greater impact in Chinese history. Ethics was the core of its philosophy.It had the direct influence and restrict to other ideas. Therefore, the study of Mr. Li Gou's ethics had an important significance. Li Gou ethics in modern society also had many things which was related to modern society, such as the emphasis on moral education,material wealth,justice and the interests of unity views, which was worthy of our effort to develop and promote today's modern spiritual civilization.This paper attempts to study Li Gou's ethics in order to reveal his ethics in an important position to the history of the Chinese traditional ethics. He stressed the norm, focusing on the material interests of pepole.No doubt at the time of in his times was progress. The author believed that the ethics of Li Gou was major in the following four areas: " Ceremony due to human " the origin of morality idea";"ceremony with various moral" - ethical thinking idea; "For both righteousness and prejudice" in righteousness and benefit idea;"Liren to good "and" for the good by teaching"in moral education idea.
