A Study On The City Sculptural Arts Under The Public Relations Circumstance

As the city is on the way of fast development, city sculptural arts are acting a growing important role in urban public space construction. However, the rapid developing condition makes the government's urban sculptural arts construction not only a matter of aesthetic appreciation, but more importantly shouldering the responsibility of how to achieve its publicity which is the core. This paper embodies the hope of applying public relation strategy to promote the achievement of urban sculptural arts'publicity.Therefore, the paper, standing on the perspective of the bilateral communication of public relations and its function and significance in the publicity construction of urban sculptural arts, undertakes qualitative analysis and investigates from a strategic point of view to build up the theory of the publicity of urban sculptural arts. Meanwhile, aiming at the problems that exist in the publicity construction of urban sculptural arts, the paper tries to give out corresponding advices for the government's convenience of system building and counter measure research undertaking. The main tasks and achievement are as follow:For the problems that occur in the process of our nation's publicity construction of urban sculptural arts and on the basis of bilateral communication theory, the paper, on the perspectives of the communication from the government to the public and vice versa respectively, proposes those following advices: first,effectively use the mass media, second,properly use the power of special social groups, third,take the propaganda and education of sculptural arts into account, fourth,attach importance to the communal participation in the sculptural arts construction, fifth,serve the mass positively and actively, sixth,value the achievement of the public power of the mass, seven,adopt the feedback to have the mass communicate with the government or artists, eight,insist on the chronic communication possibility, nine,orientate the urban sculptural arts via the communication between the government and the mass.The following is the applying of the public relation strategy to the corresponding system building and counter measure research undertaking for the achievement of the publicity of our nation's urban sculptural arts. According to the necessity of the different stages and function of urban sculptural arts construction, the construction system could be divided into three parts: urban sculptural arts construction bureau,urban sculptural arts evaluation committee,urban sculptural arts audit committee. Those functional teams and committees should coordinate with each other to undertake all the processes including the scheme, selection, construction, achievement inspection and acceptance, auditing and evaluation, maintenance and management of urban sculptural arts construction. Thus, the right of mass is put into execution and the goal of public participation is achieved which lead to the achievement of the publicity of the sculptural arts.
