Lin Yunming's Chucideng is a more distinctive book of the Chuci rearch in the early of Qing dynasty. It appeared when the regime became firmly established,economy was becoming more and more substantial in the early of Qing dynasty. The thesis based on the books Chucideng and Yikuilouxuangao, discusssing the specificity and the value of Chucideng. The thesis includes six parts.Introduction mainly summarizes the existing achievements of Chuci study. Illustrate the research methods and significance of the thesis.The first chapter mainly analyzes the political changes and the evolution of academic thought in the early of Qing dynasty. Fingding out the features of academic thought in different history stages in this period and analyzes its effect on Chuci study.Chapter two includes two parts, the first part based on the existing research. In this part, I will try my best to find some new materials to support the time of Lin Yunming's birth and death, according to his major life experiences to explore the formation of his thought process, stressing the side"worry his states and people"of his thonght. The second part mainly introduces the writing process and style issues of Chucideng.Chapter three summarizes the attitudes to Quyuan in the history, analyzes scholais'similar attitudes in the end of Ming dynasty and Beginning period of Qing dynasty to Quyuan. According to Lin Yunming's major life experiences to find out his attitude to Quyuan. The fourth chapter mainly discussse the specificity of Chucideng. Analyzes its value fromthe flowing angles:the first, research methods"zhi ren lun shi"; the second, annotation method"pin jian jie he"; the third, emphasizing literary of Chuci; the fourth, innovation at the annotation of words and sentences.Chapter fifth analyzes the deficiency of Chucideng, illustrates its effects on Chuci study, stresses its status and significance in the history of Chuci research.
