| Since the inception of the China philosophy over thousands of years, philosophers mostly focus on the issue of heaven and man,It may be safe to say that Chinese ancient philosophy started with it,evolved and became mature with it.while the Confucian school played an important role in its advancement.XunZi,an eminent representative of the Confucian school, also delved into the the issue of heaven and man,which is a part and parcle of his thoughts.The introduction defines heaven and man.That is,the relationship between man and world.The increasingly archilogical materials reveal to us that the"heaven"in Xunzi's thoughts like those in Confucius and Mencius is hidden with many meanings such as nature of the day,dominate the day and argumentation days.Xunzi's heaven and man , based on the ancestors'also with his own contents, have a high place in the whole philosophy system and become the theory basis for his thoughts. His defination of"heaven","man"put forward the thoughts of"understanding the distinction between heaven and human","adapting the law of heaven and making ues of it"and"people born into"and reflects his philosophical spirits and sophiscated wisdom,also the social conditions of his times.The first part focuses on the meaning of nature of the day and the thought of understanding the distinction between heaven and human.In his minds's eye, the nature of the day, with its own rules not changed by human's will, has nothing to do with the riots in the human's community.He prefers know heaven,naturally, and noted down many techlogical developments conducive to human beings. Here the know heavne,in his minds is also a virtue. Sophiscated as this thought is , it still impedes the advancement of the theortical science. Based on the theory of the laws of nature and know heavne,he purposes the theory about evil. According to him, the society would lapse into a choas if the human desires became uncontrolled. Meanwhile, he suggests the resistance from the puppet said, and believes the virtues are the rewards for their pursuit of them. He attaches great importance to the cognition of"mind"in the process of resistance from the puppet said.The second part expounds on his dominate the day and understanding the distinction between heaven and human.He believes that social riots shares no common with nature of the day but with dominate the day.Based on personnel dominate,he pinpoints the"adapting the law of heaven and making ues of it".
