Those Directors Who Work For Their Dreams In The Red Land

Guangxi is located in the southwest frontier of China, where the economic and cultural are underdevelopment, however, since the founding of new China, this red land have bred a number of directors who famous in domestic and foreign; emerged a large number of well-known classic films. Among them, the "fourth generation" and the "Fifth Generation" are the most representative. In recent years, more and more scholars start to research guangxi films.And,the paradigm has become increasingly rich. In this paper, I tried to study the "fourth generation" and the "Fifth Generation" directors who worked in guangxi province. I chose three representative directors and related works of each period ,Through analysis this directors and their films,I wanted to study the background and historical significance of every movies and analysis the director's shooting skills and narrative style;I also tried to through study heritage and innovation between the two generations directors to find out the development path of Guangxi film, and even the development of Chinese film .I hoped to provide some useful thinking for the development of the new period Guangxi film by studying the rise and fall course of the film in Guangxi.
