Muir thought that beauty commonly existed in nature,beauty played an important role in the progress of human society. Beauty and the bread are equally important for humans.However, in the nineteenth century, people only concerned about the economic value of wilderness, while ignoring its spiritual significance. With the expansion of population size, U.S. natural scenery has been seriously damaged because of the economic benefits and misconceptions.The forest that granted in the American western, became barren charming and terrifying who was beautiful ever.Traces of human technology have been around every corner of the United States. With reverence and love of the wilderness,Muir thought that man should nurture the nature, established national parks under the auspices of the federal government and organized people close to the wilderness actively for awakening of the human numb nerve. Muir's Ecological Aesthetic thought breakthrough the world view of mechanistic which popular in western and advocated the world view of system and integral.He opposed the anthropocentrism and advocated harmony between man and nature.He emphasized the rights of nature and against the sadistic to the nature.He promoted social responsibility and insisted for the sustainable development of man and nature.
