Study On Literary Creation Of Hu Yepin

Hu Yepin, one of the five martyrs of left- wing Writers' League, is recognized and respected as a revolutionary martyr; actually, he is even more outstanding as a writer which is also very important.This paper will illustrate, based on the publish time of Hu Yepin's works, the change of his creative thinking which can be divided into three periods, namely, early, middle and late, through the change in the contents of his works. His early works embodied the life of people from the bottom and criticized the citizens'fatuity; in the middle period, his works expressed the dual variation of love and depression of intellectuals as well as agrestic atmosphere, and his late works turned to describe unswerving socialists. The change in the creative thinking of Hu Yepin represents the historic process to the proletarian revolutionary literature of those intellectuals who have gone out of the May 4th Movement and experienced sharp social turbulence.Successfully combining the symbolic and realistic techniques together, Hu Yepin created many concise and vivid works for us. In his works, he created a group of independent female figures with respected perspectives, and a number of lyric dramatis personae which brought his works distinct lyricism, he also depicted the ridiculous countenance of people from various social stratums by applying ironic method, all of which has brought modern Chinese literature a bright color and also is regarded as personal characteristics of Hu Yepin's literary creation.
