The Selection Of Government Officials And The System Of Prefectures And Counties In Inner Mongolia Region In The West Han Dynasty

The West Han Dynasty in Chinese history had the Great Unification, this period was not only the formation of a unified multi-ethnic country, but also was the ancient Chinese territory foundation period. During this period Inner Mongolia had an important strategic value and rulers attached great importance to the economic strategy for the region.The West Han Dynasty established the system of prefectures and counties, let Inner Mongolia be under the management of central control, sent officials of the region to implement effective control and management.
