Although describing of figures, plot and environment is often used to narrate in novels application of image can enrich the expression of implication. Research on the narration from the standpoint of analysis of image can be called a growing point on novel researches.The application of south images, which contains wild goose, water, asparagus fern anc watchtower and so on, is a nightspot in Zhangling's novels. Zhangling draws the outline of feminine images in south, with the feminine's specific substantive, and shapes the south in hei brain by the carrier of south image. Upon that, these images containing colors of southern have more abundant culture and aesthetic implication. In this paper, we start from the analysis of south image and narration of the novel. By analyzing the south image through wild goose, water, asparagus fern, watchtower and any other woefully feelings, we try to search individual object, accordatura, tactics and style of narration in Zhangling's novels. From these analysis we explore the abundant meaning, further to find the factors that influenced the shaping of south image and research into the value and significance of the works.
