Study On The Metaphor Using Of Chinese Phrasal Literary Quotations

Chinese phrasal literary quotations are a special part of Chinese idiom, which is specialized for its metaphor using. This paper uses the theory of conceptual metaphor in cognitive linguistics, setting about the topic from the generating and understanding of metaphor using. This paper makes a systematic research of the metaphor using of Chinese phrasal literary quotations.In the theory of conceptual metaphor, conceptual metaphor influences our life in every aspect, which exists in language, thought and behavior. The author finds the conceptual metaphor has a direct influence in the generating of Chinese phrasal literary quotations. This paper from the perspective of conceptual mapping, including spatial metaphor, physical metaphor, structural metaphor and metonymy, analyses their function of forming the metaphor using of phrasal literary quotations: it is formed through relationship between the source of concepts and the mapping of the objects. Then this paper, from the perspective of the basic level---experience, analyses the formation of the metaphor using of phrasal literary quotation: the option of experience, the Overall Consistency of experience, the cultural sense of experience have a closed influence on the formation of metaphor mapping. In the phrasal literary quotation, similar in experience and co-occurrence in experience is the most basic style of mapping.For the understanding of the metaphor using of phrasal literary quotation, this paper analyses the experience of conceptual metaphor.
