This paper tries to reveal the textual function and summarizes the characteristics of the way of cohesion of the"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words through description and comparison which combined with the performance and internal differences. We hope to improve research in this area and obtaina more systematic understanding of these words.This paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter one is the preface of the paper. It introduces the purpose and significance of the paper, also concludes a comprehensive analysis which is related to this thesis.Chapter two is a preliminary investigation of the"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words according to their position and domination.Then find the similarities and differences of their position and domination and try to find the reasons for the differences caused.Chapter three is the investigation of the way of the different types of combination of"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words in the text. Also the different semantic and connectivity which performed in the text. Focus on the the description the situation when"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words combined with other time conjuntive words. Then we try to find the causes of their position.Chapter four is the study of the appearance and disappearance of the"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words in the text. One is the appearance and disappearance when these words used alone. The other is the appearance and disappearance when these words connected with the other components . Through comparative analysis, summarized their constraints.Chapter five expound the text function of"hou"(后)class time conjuntive words.Chapter six is the conclusion. We summarize our viewpoints, explain the value and the innovation of this thesis. Still there are some problems unsolved. We hope we can go deeper with this research later.
