Nowadays, many students are unbalanced between their learning of different subjects, which brings some puzzlement to the teachers, parents and students. To improve the situation of unbalanced learning and students'knowledge structure, reduce the students'stress, and prevent difficulties of entering into key high school or universities because of unbalanced learning, the research tries to discuss the students'different attitudes toward different subjects from psychological view, so that we can come up with some measures for the teachers and students.The research studies unbalanced learning of junior students and senior students. First, upon reviewing previous researches, the paper discussed the definition of unbalanced learning. Second, according to the academic achievement of junior students and senior students, the paper investigated the present situation of unbalanced learning. Third, through structured deep interview,'Subjective assessment questionnaire of unbalanced learning for middle school students'was developed. Last, the subjective assessment indicators of unbalanced learning for middle school students were investigated with the'Subjective assessment questionnaire of unbalanced learning for middle school students'.Results: (1) The overall rate (27%) of unbalanced learning for middle school students was high. (2) Significant differences of the rate of unbalanced learning were found in grades and the student styles. (3) The'Subjective assessment questionnaire of unbalanced learning for middle school students'has good reliability and validity. (4) The attitude of students of unbalanced learning toward preponderant subjects included five dimensions: initiative, emotion, efficacy, strategy and cognition. (5) The attitude of students of unbalanced learning toward inferior subjects included four dimensions: efficacy, initiative, cognition and emotion. (6) The attitude of students of unbalanced learning toward preponderant subjects was above average, and the attitude toward inferior subjects was on average. (7) Significant differences of the subjective assessment of unbalanced learning for middle school students were found in gender, grade, science and arts.According to the present situation of unbalanced learning and the research results of students of unbalanced learning, some suggestions were put forward toward the teachers and the students of unbalanced learning. For teachers, it tried to offer some measures to deal with students effectively. For students of unbalanced learning, it tried to help draw up a feasible study plan, in order to improve the situation of unbalanced learning.
