A Study From The Sociological Perspective On The Situation Of The Mongolian People Using Their Mother Tongue In Cities

This thesis studies the Mongolian people using their mother tongue in cities and it uses SPSS17.0 to analyze the materials and data. And it also points out the characteristics of the situation, the awareness and the existing problems for Mongolian people using their mother tongue in Hohhot city.The thesis consists of introduction, the main two chapters, conclusion, reference amount and appendix.In introduction, it includes the overall situation of the research survey, the purpose of choosing this topic, and research methods.The first chapter is about the overall situation of the Mongolian people using their mother tongue in Hohhot city. The survey investigates the situation from three different aspects----the situation of the individual using his/her mother tongue in daily life, the situation of the individual choosing his/her mother tongue to receive education and the situation of the individual using his/her mother tongue in public places. Then the author has made the analysis according to the data.The second chapter is about the analysis of the Mongolian people using their mother tongue in Hohhot city. It mainly discusses the situation and the existing problems for the Mongolian people using their mother tongue. There are two parts in this chapter. The first part is about the characteristics of the situation and the awareness of the Mongolian people using their mother tongue in Hohhot city. And the second part is about the existing problems and the solution to these problems for Mongolian people using their mother tongue in Hohhot city.In conclusion, the author has summarized the situation of the Mongolian people using their mother tongue in cities and has put forward her own viewpoint to this issue.
