This study is about vocabulary identification process in psycholinguistics. It debates the problem between the module theory and the interaction theory. It used homophones as the independent variables in this study, and examined the accuracy and priming effect of homophones recognition under the condition of without priming, semantic priming and morpheme priming. The aim is to discuss the cognitive mechanism of the homophonous words recognition under different start types.Experimental results show that the semantic factors on the high and low frequency homophones ambiguity of word recognition has a significant role; morpheme factors on the high and low frequency homophones ambiguity of word recognition has a significant role in promoting; the first and last morphemes of words to homophones ambiguity target recognition does not exist significant differences. Semantic priming might support the viewpoint of interaction theory, and morpheme priming experiment research does not support the viewpoint of modular theory. There are three experiments of psycholinguistics in this study. They demonstrated the two different viewpoints on interaction theory and module theory again. This research in certain extent enriched the theory about words recognition in psycholinguistics, and it plays certain role on supporting the theory of psycholinguistics and has reference value.
