| Chinese-Teaching is not with long history but it has been noticed by more and more experts in this field. Comparison of Chinese-English idioms is also not a new phrase, however, nowadays more and more foreign experts and students need to communicate with each other, they have noticed that the Comparison of Chinese-English idioms can help them to know each other further so that it can be more helpful to Chinese-Teaching. Why does the author emphasize the importance of idioms in Chinese-Teaching? Because it is the perfect combination for language and culture. Idioms are existed in every culture around the world and it shows the great wisdom from generations. The idioms can reflect the main points in one's culture, so it is very useful to research the difference amount different cultures by comparison of Chinese-English idioms. There is not only one theory base for idiom-teaching in Chinese-Teaching but also the space for requirements which is the point for the similarity and difference. Based on author's interests and ability of Chinese and English, he selected this contents in comparison of Chinese-English idioms: research the similarity and difference outside and inside in Chinese-English idioms based on the Chinese idioms combined with accordingly English idioms which can show the culture, morality, living style and behaviour. With the increasingly interests in Chinese, the number of the foreign students, especially those from English-speaking countries who want to study Chinese are soaring. They want to grasp Chinese well and communicate with our Chinese students by different cultures from the world. Now the Teaching-Chinese is promoted around world, it is a difficult point to deal with in using idioms, so this subject shall be a research subject in this field by experts. Chinese is basic for Teaching-Chinese so that the comparison of Chinese-English idioms becomes the one of the best methods.
