Optimism as a positive personality trait , along with the development of PositivePsychology , has aroused widely academic concern . Though reaserches on optimismhave made some advances , studies on optimistic pchchology of junior students mainlyuse emendatory relative questionnaire abroad , lack of localization measuring tools . Inaddition , many researches indicate that optimism have significant correlation withmental healthy and coping style , while coping style have significant correlation withmental healthy too , however , reaserchers didn't reveal clearly their relations . Thisstudy aim to design questionnaire on optimism for junior students in our nation , discussrelation among optimism , coping style and mental healthy of junior students .Put forward primarily optimistic structure model of junior students basing onliterature review , open investigation and experts'advice . According to the result ofEFA(exploratory factor analysis) and CFA(confirmatory factor analysis) , defineoptimistic structure of junior student , belive that it consists of four dimensionality:positive-cognitive, negative-cognitive , positive coping and efficiency optimism , designquestionaire on optimism of junior students and test its reliability and validity frommany quotas. At the same time ,inspect relations among junior students'optimisticlevel , coping styles and mental healthy , check out intervening variables betweenoptimism and mental healthy -Research results show tha t: mesomeric effect of copingstyle , observe optimistic response time of junior student under two tasks . The results ofreaserch are as follows :â… . Optimism is a multi-dimensional personality traits which contains positive-cognition, negative-cognition , positive response and efficiency optimism.â…¡. Junior students'optimistic questionnaire has good internal consistencyreliability, 1/2 reliability and content validity , and it can be used as a measuring toolfor junior students'optimistic personality .â…¢. Junior students'optimism has unbalance and relative stability, and the development characteristics in gender variable has significant differences.â…£. Junior students optimism has significant prediction effect for coping style andmental healthy ; Fantasy which is intervening variable between optimism and mentalhealthy of junior students have some mesomeric effect .â…¤. Response time of junior students'optimism have significant differences , mayexsist potential trait .
