As China has more frequent communications with foreign countries, the number of foreign loan words is growing even faster. This paper takes English loan words in modern Chinese as the object of study, and mainly studies them from the morphological angle.This paper first gave a brief introduction to the research background of English loan words in Chinese. It used morphology to analyze the classification and features of English loan words.There are traditional and morphological classifications of English loan words. In this paper the morphological analysis will be analyzed in detail. English loan words can be divided into compound loan words and affixation loan words and lettered loan words from morphological points of view. In the following part of the paper, the features of English loan words in the morphological and semantic aspect are discussed. In the process of introducing these features, these loan words have exerted great influence on Chinese morphology, and they are included in the analysis as well. The popularity of English loan words embodies the pragmatic psychology of the current national culture and aspires for novelty and brevity. It also reflects the growing trend of people's psychological need for individuality. English loan words are being used more in colloquial situations reflects the Chinese social and cultural psychology of self-confidence and inclusiveness as well.It is hoped that this paper can provide a new perspective to analyze English loan words. It aims to explore the influence of these loan words on our national language system and cultural psychology. The analysis can contribute to a deeper understanding of language contact and culture contact. There should be proper attitudes towards these loan words and have an open mind towards these loan words so as to take full advantage of them to enrich our own culture. Key Words:...
