The Study Of Promoting Photography Education In Primary And High School

Photography education has a special advantage both in developing students'creative spirits and practical abilities and in promoting students'aesthetic knowledge. To develop students'photographic interest and the ability to appreciate pictures is the need of the time and also the important content of modern quality education. In order to satisfy the new requirements for primary and middle school education in the information society and to improve the quality education, the photography education should be included into the primary and high school quality education, and it was essential.This paper reviews the present situation of photography education at home and abroad ,and holds that implementing photography education is important to society, schools and students'development.Firstly, developing the primary and secondary school photography art education is the needs of social development. With the progress of science and technology development, photography has been applied to all fields. We are in the swarmed reading times, map reading ability has become one of the basic qualities people should have in the future, meanwhile, it also have cohesive and coherent function to China's higher professional photographers education.Secondly, school education regards photography as an effective means of quality education, which is a systhesis of technology, culture, art, social behavior, physical and psychological, and photography is just the integrated curriculum of decisive significance. Photography serves the function of comprehensive education, including constructing campus culture, aesthetic value, improving teaching efficiency and teachers' quality, etc. Besides, photography education contributes to promoting the all-round development of students. Therefore, this paper analyzes the feasibility of the material foundation, social demand, staff training, curriculum, text book compiling of photography education in primary and middle school. And thus, this exploratory research, to some degree, will help to realize quality education in primary and middle school .
