Xin Qiji is a famous verse writer in the Song Dynasty. Inheriting Su Shi's Hao Fang Verse, and together with his broader vision, ambition and braveness, and combining them with his personal experience, he brought his talents into full play and developed Hao Fang Verse of his own style while making significant contribution to the development of Wan Yue Verse. Not only has his Jia Xuan Ti(a form of verse-writing) influenced verse circle in his time, but also in late generations. Though verse in the Ming Dynasty struggled in the confrontation between Hao Fang and Wan Yue style, scholars still paid special attention to Xin Qiji's verse. Some of them focus on the style of Xin Ci, and some focus on the ideological content of Xin Ci, and some focus on the characteristics of the body Jiaxuan. In the above context the words of their ji ji even comment or succession of persons, thus contributing to the Ming Dynasty Ci still glow in splendor.
