Li Ruiqing, whose family register is Linchuan County of Jiangxi Province, came of the Li Family, which was a prominent family in that area. For his father was the official in Hunan Province, Ruiqing grew up there. He went back to Jiangxi to take the Imperial Examination at the provincial level and be a candidate in 1893. And then he got a Jinshi in the next year and acceded to Hanlinyuan. Soon, his mother and father were died. Several years later, he went Jiangsu for an official and the principal of the Liangjiang's Teachers' School from 1906 to 1911. After end of the Qing Dynasty, he claimed "the crime subject", dressed in monk's clothes, claimed himself "Qingdaoren", lived by selling his paintings in shanghai. He contacted with old diehards. This paper collects and catalogues his whole life, includes his important speeches and activities, friends, experiences and so on. Then we can learn and understand Li Ruiqing' life.
